Beth A. (Smith) Casey

Beth A. (Smith) Casey, age 55, of Merrimac, passed on Friday morning, December 22, 2023 at the High Pointe House Hospice in Haverhill, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Amesbury, July 30, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Edna (Armstrong) Smith and was a graduate of Whitttier Vocational Technical High Schoolin Haverhill.

Beth was a case manager for Shared Living, helping individuals with mental health. All her individuals loved her because Beth truly cared about each and every one of her individuals.

Her life was filled with wonderful memories that she shared with her beloved family, her devoted husband, James a. Casey; dearest son, Joseph and his wife, Katheryn; step-son, Jonathan Casey; Therese Plourde, who she was like a 2nd mother to; and was the most beloved Nana to : Charlotte, Evelyn, Juliet, Madisyn, Prezton, JJ, Ayden, and Kayden.; Sister, Valerie Carnes; brother, Lester Smith; Step-Sister Faith Burke and Step-Brother Mike Smith ;mother-in-law, Helen Casey, along with nieces, nephews, extended family and dear, dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, Bruce Smith.

Beth will always be remembered for her caring and loving ways, her genuine kindness, and her deep rooted love of family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 36 West Main Street, Merrimac on Friday 12/29 from 4-8. Funeral Services and burial will be private for the family.
