Beverley J. (Smith) Collins

Beverley J. (Smith) Collins, age 65, of Haverhill, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, with her loving family at her side after a brief illness.

Born in Haverhill on August 26, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Edythe M. (Young) Smith and was a graduate of Haverhill High School.

In recent years, Beverley worked as a cashier at Market Basket, CVS, and Walmart.

Beverley was devoted to her four sons and took great pride in her two grandchildren. Family gatherings were always filled with laughter, good food, and storytelling. She was a dedicated fan of the Patriots, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and listening to country music.

Her memory will be cherished by her children: Jason Phillips and wife Lisa, Daniel Phillips, Eric Phillips and wife Jill, and Curtis Collins, her two grandchildren, Alivia Phillips and Aaron Collins. She is also survived by her brothers Glenn Smith, Howard Smith and partner Suzanne, Bruce Smith and wife Lisa, and Dale Smith and wife Karen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Beverley will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered fondly. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories she leaves behind.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11 A.M. at Walnut Cemetery, Kenoza Street, Haverhill, where Beverley will be laid to eternal rest next to her parents. Arrangements are being handled by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, located at 334 Main Street, Haverhill, MA.
