Brenda A. Spinney

Brenda Ann (Russell) Spinney, age 59, of Amesbury, MA, passed away on August 29, 2024, at Anna Jaques Hospital, after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Malden, MA on July 16, 1965, Brenda was the daughter of Wallace B. Russell and the late Doris (Taylor) Russell. She was a dedicated employee at Melrose Hospital and touched the lives of many.

Brenda is survived by her loving son, Brandon T Spinney of Concord, NH, and her cherished daughter, Rachael Marie Spinney, also of Concord, NH. She is also survived by her four brothers: Kenneth E McLean and wife Betsy of VI, William D McLean and wife Debbie of Billerica, MA, Robert A. McLean of Laconia, NH, Stephen McLean of Machias, ME, and her sister, Janice Bramante and husband Sal of Meredith, NH, along with several nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends, who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on Sunday, September 08, 2024, from 2-6 P.M. at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, where family and friends can gather to pay their respects and share memories of Brenda. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda’s memory can be made to Simple Living Inc. (Sally’s House) in care of Marilyn DiOrio, Executive Director, 56 Sparhawk St., Amesbury, MA 01913.

Brenda will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she cared for. May she rest in peace.
