In loving memory of Charlotte Marguerite Brien who passed away peacefully at Nevins Nursing Home on February 29th, 2024. She was born in Lawrence, MA on August 3rd, 1950. Charlotte (Charlie) was the daughter of the late Rita F. Demers-Brien and Stephen G. Brien. She was predeceased by her loving life partner Anna DeBerardinis and 4 brothers; Lawrence, Ernest, Clarence, and Stephen.

Charlotte will be greatly missed by her sister Lucette and sisters-in-law Claire and Cindy. Her 16 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews and 6 great-great nieces and nephews. Charlotte is also survived by an aunt and 2 uncles.

Charlotte’s quirky sense of humor and joyful disposition were an inspiration to all who were blessed to share in her life’s journey. Her love and enthusiasm and passion for making music was infectious and one always smiled when they were in Aunt Charlotte’s company.

The love of music began in early childhood when her father shared his love for the drums, By early teen years Charlotte was an accomplished drummer winning a number of competitions and awards, playing with the Pink Panthers Band, the Lawrence High School Marching Band and earning a full scholarship to Berklee School of Music. As time passed she played in a number of local clubs and loved teaching her craft to any interested niece or nephew. Whenever she could she took her beloved drum set to family gatherings and wowed the crowd with her rendition of Wipe-Out.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 16th at 10:00am at Star of the Sea Church, 18 Beach Road, Salisbury, MA 01952.

A Celebration of Life will immediately follow and be held at Sayde’s Bar and Grill, 136 Cluff Crossing Road, Salem NH 03079.

Burial Services will take place on Monday, March 18th at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Cemetery 80 Corbett St, Andover, MA 01810.

In lieu of flowers, and to honor Charlotte’s “Pace Family” donations may be made to Element Care, 235 Woodland North, Lynn, MA 01904
