Dawn A. (Piecewicz) Lysik

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dawn Ann (Piecewicz ) Lysik, age 80, of Amesbury, MA, who peacefully departed on October 22, 2024, at Anna Jaques Hospital. Dawn was born in Newburyport, MA on April 15, 1944, to the late Frank J. and Annie Marion (Knight) Piecewicz.

Dawn worked in the Telecom industry before retiring and found joy in working in the bakery at Market Basket in Seabrook during her retirement. Her dedication and passion for her work endeared her to all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished by many.

Her greatest joy came from spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind her two sons, Michael J. Lysik and his wife Stephanie of Amesbury and Thomas J. Lysik and his wife Joan, of Seabrook, NH; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jeremy Woundy of Amesbury, Colin and Chaineze Lysik of Queens NY, Quinn Lysik of Phoenix, AZ, Rose Lysik of Amesbury, Elizabeth Clopton of Seabrook; two great-grandsons, Charlie and Michael Woundy, , along with extended family and dear friends.

Family will be holding a Celebration of Life in memory of Dawn Lysik at a later date. Arrangements were made with Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dawn’s memory to a charity of your choice. Dawn will be deeply missed and will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her soul rest in eternal
peace.
