It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis J. Guilmette, age 59, of Salisbury, formerly of Amesbury, who passed on Friday, December 27, 2024, with his family by his side. He was the devoted husband of Lisa J. Guilmette and they have been each others best friends for forty years.
Born in Amesbury, April 6, 1965, Dennis was one of seven children of the late Roland J. and Mary E. (Webb) Guilmette, and was a graduate of Amesbury High School.
Dennis was a truck driver and skilled equipment operator having worked for Waterline Industries of Seabrook, NH for 27 years.
Dennis was truly one of a kind - his humor and quick wit could brighten any room. Known as the life of the party, he had an incredible ability to make people smile, turning the simplest moments into cherished memories. Whether sharing a laugh, telling a story, or just being himself, he brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence was a gift, and his spirit will live on in the countless smiles he inspired.
One of his greatest joys was spending time trap shooting with his daughter and son-in-law at the Georgetown Gun Club. He made many friends and cherished memories while shooting every Wednesday and Sunday rain or shine.
His life’s legacy will continue to warm the hearts of those he loved so dearly, his beloved wife Lisa; daughter, Haley and husband Tyler Daniels; his siblings, Russell J. Guilmette and wife Julie; Roland J. Guilmette, Jr. and wife Jodie, Janet A. Bahl, Diane M. Calvo and husband Brian, Susan J. Matson and husband Matthew; a brother-in-law, Steven Marroncelli; along with countless nieces and nephews and extended families. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Joyce Marroncelli and his brother-in-law, Frank Bahl.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, January 2nd 4pm-8pm at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 3, 2024, at 11am at St. Joseph Church of St. Andre Bissette Parish, 2 School Street, Amesbury, MA.
