Gary A. Morehouse

Gary A. Morehouse, age 59, longtime resident of Salisbury, passed at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport on Sunday, January 7, 2024 in the loving presence of his family.

Born in Haverhill, May 20, 1964, he was the son of the late Freeman W. and Thelma V. (Everett) Morehouse and had attended Haverhill High School.

Gary was an exceptionally accomplished woodworker and articulate house painter, always making sure that his work was flawless. He took great pride in perfection and satisfaction for all his clients.

Although Gary had no children, he was a wonderful uncle to his many nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.

Gary is survived by his brothers, Jack Morehouse, Ronald Lessard and Richard Lessard; his sisters, Betty Mace, Linda Garnch, Donna Kelley, Pamela Poulin and Patricia Ponch, along with his beloved nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Long Hill Cemetery, Salisbury, where he will be laid to rest with his parents. Arrangements were by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913.
