Gary Mark Cobb

We regret to announce the passing of Gary Mark Cobb, Sr. at the age of 73. He peacefully left us on December 12, 2023, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH.

Born on November 18, 1950, in Brattleboro, VT, he was one of four children of the late Charles and Priscilla (Hudson) Cobb.

Gary dedicated over 30 years of his life to his work at GE. He was a hardworking individual who was loved and respected by his colleagues. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Additionally, Gary was a member of the Seacoast Hog Motorcycle Group, where he found joy and camaraderie amongst his fellow riders.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Joyce (Underewood) Cobb, with whom he shared many happy years. He leaves behind a loving family, including his son, Gary Mark Cobb, and his wife Tara of Hartford, ME, his daughter, Sherry Cobb of Haverhill, MA, step-sons, Jeff Boomer of Rochester, NH, and Bill Boomer, and step-daughter, Karen Boomer. Gary will forever be remembered by his brother, Paul Cobb of Lebanon, Maine, and his sisters, Deborah Olds and her husband John of Buxton, ME, and Donna Austin of Westbrook, ME. He was a proud grandfather to his grandchild, Christine Cobb of Hartford, ME, who will cherish their memories of him.

Calling hours will be held at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA, on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 4-7 PM. A funeral service honoring Gary’s life will follow at 7 PM at the Highland Chapel.
