Helena F. Worthen

Helena F. Worthen passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the grand old age of 99. She was born in Amesbury on April 30, 1924, to Joseph and Josephine Gagne. Helena married Edward P. Worthen on April 29, 1946. They were married for 60 years before Edward’s passing in 2006.

Helena had a sparkling personality, a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She had a zest for life, and one couldn’t help but smile in her company. Helena was a wonderful, strong woman, and will be deeply missed by all of her loved ones.

She is greatly missed by her daughters, Frances and husband Frank Kinslow of Punta Gorda, FL and Ann and her husband Robert Noll of Kensington, NH. Her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, are Melinda Noll and her husband Kerry West of Somersworth, NH, and Michael Noll and his wife Brianna, of Hopkinton, NH; her precious great-grandsons, Oskar Robert Noll and Felix William Noll, also of Hopkinton, NH, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, immediately followed by a service at the funeral home at 11 A.M.
