Henry L. Shattuck

Henry L. Shattuck, age 74, longtime resident of Amesbury, passed at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the beloved husband of Edith C. Shattuck. 

Born in Long Island, New York, July 6, 1950, he was the son of the late Joseph B. and Mildred L. (Delano) Shattuck. Henry had worked as a press operator for many years at an automotive parts company. 

In addition to his beloved wife, Edith, he is also survived by two sons, Howard Meattey and his significant other Christy of Groveland, MA and Robert Meattey and wife Nicole of Kingston, NH; two daughters, Jennifer Collins and husband James of Amesbury, MA and Becky Meattey of Amesbury, MA; many grand-children and great grand-children; a brother, William Shattuck and significant other Carol Johnson of Salisbury, MA; three sisters, June Bourque of Maine, Pamela Raymond of SC, and Patricia Mniscalto of Rochester, NH, along with many generations of nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.  

The family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements were by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913.
