Jeannine "Jennie" E. Lambert

Jeannine “Jennie” Elizabeth Lambert, age 47, of Kingston, NH, passed peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

Jennie had a lifelong love of and connection to animals. She started volunteering at the Kingston Animal Hospital when she was only thirteen. She attended Mt. Ida’s veterinary tech program and continued to educate herself about all aspects of animal health and well-being.

After college she worked in various seacoast and local animal hospitals and dedicated herself to pet sitting and caring for neighbors’ and friends’ pets. She was certified in animal reiki and had an instinct for healing. Her family affectionately referred to her as the “animal whisperer”. She loved her dog Pippa and her two cats Finnigan and Olliver and her beloved Roswell. She truly cared for all creatures great and small.

Jennie cared deeply not only for animals in her care but also for their owners with whom she established a true love and friendship. This gift of human connection extended to the special people in her community as well as strangers she met for the first time. In learning of her passing, her friends consistently described her as sweet, caring, funny and kind, often saying she made them feel like family. She selflessly offered a listening ear and a warm smile, providing comfort through her words and thoughtful gestures.

A perfect day for Jennie would be time spent in the garden in the sunshine with Pippa, growing the vegetables she would use to create her delicious meals, and a ride up the coast with mom and dad. We all will miss our Jennie with her warm loving heart, kind soul and beautiful smile.

Born in Haverhill, MA, on January 21, 1978, she is the daughter of Gerard and Joanne (Dondero) Lambert. She is survived by a sister, Christina Lipsky and husband Ray, a brother, Joseph Lambert and wife Caroline, a niece Vivian Lipsky, and three nephews Joseph “JD” Lipsky, Atli Lambert, and Enzo Lambert, all of whom she adored. She was loved by so many including her aunts, Ruth, Diane, Jeannette, and Annie and uncles, Jim, Roger, John and Mike and her cousins Monique, Jamie, Mike, Matt, Kristin and Cristiana.

She is predeceased by two grandfathers and their spouses, Gerard Lambert, Sr. and wife Ruth (Briggs) and Joseph Dondero and wife Gertrude (Sharkey). She had a special bond with her great aunt, Jane Dondero.
