Jeffrey D. Apicella

Jeffrey D. Apicella, age 57, of Newburyport, MA, passed away on February 18, 2024 at Maplewood Manor Nursing Home in Amesbury, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Danvers, MA, August 25, 1964, the son of Louis Apicella, Sr. and the late Jean (Redding) Apicella. Jeffrey had dedicated his career to Opportunity Works.

Jeffrey had a great passion for reading and solving puzzles. He delighted in exploring new stories and challenging his mind. Throughout his life, he brought joy to those around him with his intellect and zest for life.

He is survived by his loving brother, Louis Apicella, Jr. of Newburyport; a caring sister-in-law, Deborah Bateman of Amesbury; a devoted nephew, Matthew Apicella, who looked up to him as a role model and cherished uncle. Jeffrey is also survived by two aunts, Linda Arnold and Anne Bliel, and Uncle Steve Apicella and his wife Candy, who provided love and support throughout his journey.

Jeffrey will be remembered for his kind heart, inquisitive mind, and the joy he brought to those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
