John J. Higgins

John J. Higgins, age 28, of Haverhill, MA, passed away at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill, early Saturday morning, January 13, 2024.

He was born in Haverhill on September 23, 1995, son of Peter Loring and Sherry West. John was so proud of earning his diploma and was always ready to work where ever he was needed. He had a deep love for fire trucks and the Haverhill Fire Fighting Museum, as well as the popular children’s show, “Paw Patrol.”

John’s passion for fire trucks was evident on his urn that was engraved with the image of a fire truck along with his image, that will forever remind us of him.

His life’s legacy will continue to be remembered by his mother and her companion, Sherry West and Samuel Bedient; sister, Dawn Loring of Haverhill; two step-brothers, Joshua Bedient and Joshua Loring, both of Haverhill; four step-sisters, Stephanie Robinson, Danica Loring, Katie Woodworth, and Sarah Segarra, all of Haverhill, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Alice and George West, who loved all their grandchildren, but John held a very special place in their hearts.

John touched the lives of those around him and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 1 to 4 P.M. at the Monument Square Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 334 Main Street, Haverhill.
