Jr. Clarence Frank Blood

Clarence Frank Blood, Jr., age 84, of Carthage, NY, former resident of Merrimac, MA, passed peacefully Monday afternoon, November 6, 2023, at the Carthage Hospital in Carthage, NY.
He was the beloved husband of 53 years to the late Judith (Austin) Blood, who passed in 2014.

Born in Westfield, MA, April 28, 1939, he was the son of the late Clarence F. and Estelle G. (Brazee) Blood and was a graduate of Westfield High School and went on to received an Associates Degree from Berkshire Christian College.

Frank served three years with the United States Army and was honorably discharged with a Good Conduct Medal.

A man of great faith and conviction, he was very dedicated to his family and church.

He will forever be remembered by his children, David M. Blood, Timothy R. Blood and his wife Staci Igelsias Blood, Kristin Blood and Alex Evangelista, Alyssa Nock, and Annika Bridges;
thirteen grandchildren, Ian, Shiva, Jarred, Amy, Cheyenne, Dominique, Anthony, Christopher, Kayla, Savannah, Lily, Ethan and Nina; three great-grandchildren, Ines, Weston and Daisy; brother Ronald G. Blood and wife Darlene; two sisters, Joan Reynolds and husband Richard and Gail P. Nowling and husband Ronald; his sister-in-law, Brenda Blood; along with several generations of nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends. In addition to his parents and his loving wife, Judith, he is also predeceased by his brother, Ralph B. Blood. Frank enjoyed the last five years with his companion, Dianne Prunier and her daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Mike Raymond.
