Larry D. Vynorius

December 19, 1956 – January 24, 2024

Merrimac – Larry D. Vynorius, age 67, died peacefully Wednesday morning, January 24, 2024, at his home after a courageous struggle with cancer. He was the husband of 20 years to Bonnie (Benjamin) Vynorius.

Born in Newburyport, on December 19, 1956, he was the son of the late William J. and Doris (Butland) Vynorius. He was a 1976 graduate of Pentucket Regional High School. He was retired and a member the Pile Drivers Local Union 56.

He loved spending time with his family and friends and they have many wonderful memories of those times. He especially loved boating, fishing, camping, snow mobile outings and racing.

He is survived and will be missed by his wife, Bonnie (Benjamin) Vynorius; his daughter, Jessie Vynorius; his son, Benjamin Vynorius; and his step-son John Bixby; his mother, Doris Vynorius; and his brother, James Vynorius and wife Janice; his grandchildren, Brianna Romero and Joseph Pupi Jr.; and his great-grandchildren, Alaya and Ariana; mother-in-law, Candie Benjamin; sister-in-law Dawn Frost and husband Eric; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father William Vynorius, and his brothers Wayne and Robert Vynorius.

Visiting hours will be at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA, Monday, February 5, 2024, 3:00 – 7:00 PM, immediately followed by a funeral service. Burial will be at the Bridge Street Cemetery in West Newbury in the spring. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
