Lorraine Pike (Hall)
2.17.1935 – 8.19.2024

SALISBURY, MA - Lorraine Pike, 89, passed away peacefully after a brief illness. She spent most of her life in her beloved town of Salisbury, MA, and was proud to be part of one of its founding families. Born the second eldest child and only daughter to Franklin and Dorothy (Rogers) Pike, Lorraine took great pride in being the only girl among four brothers and supporting them after their mother’s untimely passing.

A graduate of Essex Aggie, Lorraine was a devoted homemaker for many years.
Later in life, she worked in retail sales and childcare, finding joy in being a nanny to many local children, as she was a child at heart herself.

Lorraine enjoyed playing card games, bingo, and puzzles, and was always crafting and quilting. She loved adventures, travel and cherished outings with friends and family, always eager to connect with everyone she met.

Lorraine is survived by her children and grandchildren: Steven and Allyson Hall (Breyer & Shelby) of Newton, NH; Wayne and Cindy Hall (Kaitlin) of Newfields, NH; and her daughter Lorie and Chuck Umanita (Danielle & Claudia) of Rowley, MA. She is also survived by her brother Russell and Carol Pike of Salisbury, MA, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her three brothers, Charles, Donald, and Bruce, and her special cousin Nina Meader. Lorraine missed them all terribly, and we find solace knowing she is reunited with them at the feet of Christ.

The family would like to thank the extremely patient, caring staff at Port Health in Newburyport.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 pm on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Long Hill Cemetery, Beach Road, Salisbury, MA, at 10:00 am for those who wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory be mailed to The Salisbury Historical Society, PO Box 5131, Salisbury, MA 01952, or to the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
