Mary E. (Calore) Hanifan

Mary E. (Calore) Hanifan, of Hampton, NH formerly of Malden, MA died Sunday, March 31, 2024 at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald R. Hanifan; devoted mother of Elaine Hanifan and her husband Bret, Maureen Hagan and her husband James and Joanne Lightfoot and her husband Jeffery; cherished Nana of the “Great Seven” as she so lovingly referred to them: Seth, Cassidy, Grady, Jillian, Max, Kelsey and Wyatt; and dear sister, Jane Salvati. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara McIntyre.

In her free time, she enjoyed word games, jigsaw puzzles, going to the beach, a good glass of wine and spending time with her family. She was greatly loved by many and will surely be missed.

Visitation hours will be held at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury on Monday, April 8th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 9th at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Joseph Church of St. André Bessette Parish, Amesbury, MA.
