A longtime friend of Bill W., Paul was a pillar in the AA community. Founding the "Steel Shop Recovery" 26 years ago. He was a well known speaker and foundly enjoyed being called "Big Book Paul". He was an active member of St. Basil's community, All Saints Parish, and The Knights Of Columbus. He did volunteer work at several outreach and food pantry programs.

Paul loved and enjoyed time with his family. His grandchildren will always remember Papa making them the best grilled cheese and fun horseback rides. Paul spent a lot of time outdoors camping, fishing and looking for woodland creatures. He could be heard imitating barred owls calling "Who, who cooks for you?" Picking fruits during the seasons with family brought him joy. Paul was always eager to help family and friends with whatever he could.
