Ronald H Teel, Sr.

Ronald H. Teel, Sr., age 75, of Newburyport, MA, passed on August 31, 2024, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport.

Born in Newburyport on December 8, 1948, he was one of five children of the late Robert O. and Josephine (Frascone) Teel. He leaves behind his beloved wife of fifty-five years, Nancy (Colburn) Teel.

Ronald dedicated his career to GTE Sylvania Quartz Glass Industry. His love for freshwater fishing and kayaking was well-known, as was his enjoyment of sharing a cup of coffee with those around him. Above all, Ronald cherished spending time with his family.

He is survived by his two sons, Ronald Henry Teel, Jr. and his significant other Kari Hoddeson of Georgetown, MA, and Luke Teel and his wife Meg of Goldsboro, NC; his brother, Robert Teel and wife Lynn of Amesbury, MA, as well as his loving grandchildren, Ronnie, Gillian, Maggie, Kelte, Quinn, and Annie Teel, and Emily Hoddeson, along with extended family and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his three sisters, Wilda Christoph, Gertrude Patenaude, and Susan McClellan.

Ronald H. Teel, Sr. will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Calling hours for Ronald will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 4-8 P.M. at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Central Congregational Church, 14 Titcomb Street, Newburyport followed by burial at Belleville Cemetery, Newburyport, where he will be lovingly laid to eternal rest.
