Stephanie A. (Snow) DeFrancesco

Stephanie DeFrancesco passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 28th at Lawrence General Hospital following a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. 

Born on November 4, 1953 in Haverhill, MA to Donald and Marion Snow, Stephanie grew up on Snowcrest Farm and attended Haverhill High School’s graduating class of 1971, working much of her life as a home health aid in the Merrimac Valley.

Deeply rooted in her New England lineage, she spent many years on the coast of Maine, sailing its waters and walking its beaches, a place she held as sacred. A caregiver and matriarch, she brought light and joy to clients, coworkers, friends and family through her thoughtful and loving nature. 

She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael DeFrancesco, and her beloved son, Jesse DeFrancesco. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings, Donna and her husband Jeff Fugere, Priscilla Hikel, and Stephen Snow. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, Alison Fugere, Cassandra Snow, and Alyssa Snow; her nephews, Corey Fugere and Kyle Fugere; as well as her dear friend, Joyce Nicoll.  

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday February 2nd at 1:00 pm at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 36 West Main Street, Merrimac, MA, followed by a celebratory luncheon at Family Chinese Restaurant in Salisbury, MA.
