Susan Leveille Dearborn, 72, passed away on July 29, 2024 at Mill Town Health and Rehab in Amesbury after a years long battle with dementia.
Born in Beverly on August 14, 1951 to the late Francis G. and Corinne M. (McArdle) Leveille, Susan was one of three children. She is survived by her brother, Francis G. Leveille, Jr., sister, Nancy L. Leveille, and cousins.
Susan is now in Heaven with her late husband, Ronald S. Dearborn, who passed away in 2019. She leaves behind her loving children, Seth G. Dearborn and Hillary S. (Dearborn) Morales. She loved her two children with all her heart and will be dearly missed by Seth and Hillary. Their childhoods were filled with many memorable trips to museums, libraries, Maudsley State Park, Plum Island and Odiorne State Park. The Dearborn family loved being in nature together.
Susan dedicated over 30 years working in Registration and Admitting at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, where she loved interacting with people.
Anyone who knew Susan could see her love for fashion in the way she was always impeccably dressed in style. She also had a passion for cooking healthy, delicious meals for her family. The family home in Amesbury was always adorned with beautiful flowers she loved to plant in the spring, summer and fall. Over the years, the Dearborn family spent many summer vacations camping in Martha’s Vineyard, Susan’s favorite place. Susan and her daughter were avid beach goers at Salisbury Beach. They also made frequent day trips to Singing Beach in Manchester, MA, the Marginal Way walking path in Ogunquit, ME, and downtown Marblehead.
Susan loved rock and roll, her favorite band being The Rolling Stones. The Dearborn household was always filled with music and the family attended countless concerts together over the years. Susan also loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor that she shared with her family.
In her final days, Susan was surrounded by lifelong friends and family. She was a sweet, funny, gentle, loving soul who is surely missed by all who knew her.

Donations may also be made to their food pantry at 13 Lafayette Road, Salisbury, MA 01952. Arrangements were by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury MA 01913.
