Vincent John Sartorelli, age 89, of Amesbury, MA, passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2024. He was born in Chelsea, MA on February 1, 1935, to the late Vincent Sartorelli and Mary (Sullivan) Sartorelli.

Vincent was a graduate of Northeastern University with a BS degree in Chemical Engineering. He was the president and cofounder of CAI Inc. His sons and grandchildren joining him in the business brought him tremendous pride and joy.

Vincent is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Durgin) Sartorelli, with whom he shared many wonderful years. He is also survived by his six sons: Michael Sartorelli (Linda), Paul Sartorelli (Pamela), John Sartorelli (Kathleen), Edward Sartorelli (Esther Nganga), Thomas Sartorelli (Natalie), and Richard Sartorelli (Sibel). He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, his sister, Mary Mahoney, Sandra’s children Linda, Keith and Cynthia, along with extended family and many dear friends from near and far. He was predeceased by his brother, Paul Sartorelli, and sisters Claire Harney and Carol Cataldo. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Vincent was an active member of AA for over 45 years and a devoted member of the Catholic Church in town. He had a deep passion for WWII history, belonging to the Collins Living History Educational Foundation in Stow, MA. His interest in planes from that era was a reflection of his respect for history and commitment to education.

Calling hours for Vincent will be held at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church of the St. Andre Bessette Parish, Amesbury, followed by a Graveside service at St. Joseph Cemetery, where he will be laid to eternal rest.

Vincent John Sartorelli will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and passion for history. May he rest in peace.
