William C. Lasala

William C. LaSala, age 76, of West Newbury, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 2, 2024. He was the devoted husband of Sheryl (Doherty) LaSala, with whom he has shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in Winthrop, July 1, 1947, he was the son of the late Carmine LaSala and Barbara (Lane/LaSala) Martin and step father John Martin. He graduated from Revere High School in 1965. He went on to receive his Associate’s Degree from Northeastern University and finally a Bachelor’s Degree from Fitchburg University.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War but served on the Korean boarder. After his military service he worked for Raytheon in North Andover until his retirement.

His lifetime memories will be treasured forever by his wife, Sheryl LaSala; his three sons and their wives Will and Mandi of Sandown NH, Tristen and Jenna of West Newbury MA and Neil and Stephanie of Haverhill MA; his daughter, Jasmine and wife Ace of Beverley MA; and his 11 grandchildren who held a very special place in his heart. He will also be missed by his sister, Sarah Smith, his aunt, Louise Hledick along with extended family and dear, dear friends. And he was welcomed home by his late brother, Joseph Jerome.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA. A funeral mass will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Redeemer Parish, 300 Main Street, West Newbury, MA. A Celebration of Life for William LaSala will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 1 to 4 P.M. at the West Newbury Town Annex, 381 Main Street, West Newbury, MA 01985.
